What Your Customers WantApril 25, 2012
Don’t involve yourself in the business of mediocrity when people are looking for so much more.
Mediocrity is the sin of the uninspired and banishes owner and customer alike to a stale bread existence.
Consumers want to be overwhelmed by what you do for them. They’re looking for an instance in this world—a bright moment in the sun—where they actually reach value equilibrium between cost and product.
They want a warm welcome and a trip over yourself attitude to meet their need and make a connection. People by nature want to feel appreciated but more than that, they want to feel respected.
Your business should be an attitude-transforming portal for your customer. Very entry into your cosmic domain changes their expectation of a mediocre transaction to that of overwhelming distinction.
People are more than used to being hoodwinked and taken advantage of.
Shock their senses with nothing they’ve seen before. Give them a product that actually lives up to its billing.
Lavish service like you would lavish light on a dark room.
